Led by CityU professors in partnership with the Global Youth Centre for Science and Innovation, this seven-month AI Explorers Engineering Tech-A-thon programme provides secondary school students with an immersive, undergraduate-level introduction to AI and engineering. The curriculum equips student teams with the skills to develop competitive solutions and represent their school as official delegates at the Hong Kong AI Innovators Summit in July 2026.

At the programme’s culminating prize presentation ceremony on September 12, 2026, two of our student delegates were proudly recognised for their outstanding achievements: Circle So (S.3) received the Future Innovators Award, and Yoyo So (S.6) was honoured with the Distinguished Scholars Award.
