Beijing Study Tour
04.Nov.2026

Our school ran a five-day Beijing study tour from 31 October to 4 November 2026 under the Sister School Programme. Centred on modern national history, ecological conservation and sustainable development, the tour brought teachers and students to heritage sites, industrial zones and technology hubs, including our sister school, Beijing Children’s Palace, for immersive learning.

Following the timeline of modern Chinese history, students visited the Red Building of Peking University, the Museum of the Communist Party of China, the former Sino-French University and Dongjiaominxiang. Guided tours helped them connect textbook knowledge with real historical settings, deepening their understanding of national development since the May Fourth Movement and strengthening their national identity.

At Shougang Park, the group examined the green transformation of a former industrial site, learning about industrial heritage conservation and urban renewal. Students also joined interactive technology and ecology workshops at Beijing Children’s Palace, collaborating on hands-on tasks and nature journaling with peers. The tour concluded with a visit to the Shijingshan Humanoid Robot Training Centre, where participants discovered how innovation drives ecological protection and industrial upgrade.

Blending history, ecology, technology and cross-school collaboration, the programme broadened students’ horizons and fostered independent inquiry and teamwork. Our school will continue to nurture exchanges with the sister school, cultivating young people with national pride and a sustainable mindset.

We are fully committed to offering an all-round education enhanced with the Gospel spirit and the virtues of humility, respect, kindness and love.
