“Reach for the Tiangong, Cherish Our Homeland”
21.Oct.2026

The cross‑curricular national education programme “Reach for the Tiangong, Cherish Our Homeland”, co‑organised by the Constitution and Basic Law Student Ambassadors and the Integrated Science Department, was held on 21 October.

The activity bridged aerospace science and national education. Students took part in interactive quiz games themed on major milestones of China’s space development, including satellites, crewed space missions and the Tiangong space station. Designed to be engaging and student‑friendly, the games allowed participants to learn in a joyful setting.

Secondary 2 students joined the tailor‑made session during their Integrated Science lessons. They explored the scientific principles of space travel and learnt about the perseverance and innovative spirit of Chinese aerospace pioneers.  Students from other forms visited the activity stations during the lunch break. They enjoyed challenging quiz booths and tested their aerospace knowledge.  All participants received a small souvenir to mark their engagement.

Through this programme, students gained a deeper understanding of the development of China’s aerospace technology, recognised the hard work of space scientists and engineers, and strengthened their sense of national belonging while reinforcing relevant scientific knowledge.

We are fully committed to offering an all-round education enhanced with the Gospel spirit and the virtues of humility, respect, kindness and love.
