From September 18 to 22, 2026, student representatives of our school's Flag-raising Team participated in the "Salute to the National Flag" Hong Kong and Macao Youth Flag-raising Team Representatives' Beijing Visit, organized by the Education Bureau. This activity aimed to promote patriotic education among youth. Our students stepped outside campus and visited the capital, deepening their love for the nation through firsthand experience. During the visit, students attended the solemn flag-raising ceremony at Tiananmen Square, feeling the sanctity of the national flag and the dignity of the nation in a solemn atmosphere. Through diverse field visits, they gained a deep understanding of Beijing's rich historical and cultural heritage, as well as the country's booming development achievements, thereby broadening their personal horizons and perspectives.

On the morning of September 21, Ding Xuexiang, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Vice Premier of the State Council, met with the delegation at the Great Hall of the People and took a commemorative group photograph with the teachers and students.

This visit to Beijing enabled our students to experience up close the historical heritage and contemporary development of our motherland, while also strengthening their sense of national identity, ethnic belonging, and responsibility.
