The Ancient Egypt Unveiled Exhibition
08.Jul.2026

Our Secondary 1 students recently stepped out of the classroom and back in time with an exciting educational visit organised by the Department of History to the Ancient Egypt exhibition at the Hong Kong Palace Museum!

Ancient Egyptian history is a core part of the S.1 history syllabus, and this excursion provided the perfect opportunity for our students to further the knowledge they have been learning in their lessons.

Instead of just looking at pictures in their textbooks, students were able to view genuine, ancient Egyptian artefacts up close. Seeing real sarcophagi and cat mummies firsthand allowed them to connect deeply with the historical concepts, religious beliefs, and cultural practices they have been studying in class.

We believe that experiencing history outside the classroom makes learning both memorable and impactful. Seeing these incredible artefacts in person has brought our history curriculum to life and sparked a deeper curiosity in our S.1 students.

We are fully committed to offering an all-round education enhanced with the Gospel spirit and the virtues of humility, respect, kindness and love.
