Chinese Culture Day
13.Feb.2026

On February 13, our school successfully hosted the "Chinese Culture Day" theme event, "Dragon Leaps in a Joyful Spring Garden (龍騰新春樂滿園)". This event aimed to provide students with a hands-on experience of China’s rich Intangible Cultural Heritage while fostering a festive campus atmosphere.

The School Playground was transformed into a bustling marketplace of tradition. Students participated in diverse workshops, including:
Traditional Crafts: Sachet making, Chinese knot weaving and windmill construction.
Literary Arts: Calligraphy and New Year woodblock printing, where parents, teachers and students shared their New Year aspirations through art.
Ancient Pastimes: An "Ancient Games" zone featuring Chuiwan捶丸 and Mushe木射, allowing students to experience the leisure activities of ancient scholars.

One of the most popular attractions was the Traditional Clothing Experience, where students explored the aesthetic and etiquette of traditional Chinese attire. The celebration concluded in the School Hall with a mesmerizing Lion Dance performance, energizing the entire school community and symbolized a prosperous start to the new year.

By participating in these activities, our students did more than just have fun; they gained a deeper appreciation for their cultural roots, strengthening their sense of national pride and cultural confidence. We thank all the teachers and student helpers who made this memorable event possible.

We are fully committed to offering an all-round education enhanced with the Gospel spirit and the virtues of humility, respect, kindness and love.
